Arbitrary file write in affected Veritas NetBackup releases allows remote authenticated users to write content on a Primary server. The Primary server's file-write handling accepts client-supplied content and writes it to a destination path that the client can partially control. A valid Client authentication context and network access to the Primary server are required; the path is not fully controllable, and exact destinations are undisclosed.
