Arbitrary file write in affected Veritas NetBackup releases allows remote authenticated users to write files to a Primary server. Veritas has not published the vulnerable component or the operation that mishandles client-controlled file data or paths. Reachability requires authenticated NetBackup Client access; affected releases span 8.1.x through 9.1.0.1, and successful exploitation alters server files.
