Remote command execution in Veritas NetBackup allows remote attackers to run arbitrary commands on a Primary server. Veritas has not disclosed the affected service, request field, or unsafe operation that turns remote input into command execution. Unauthenticated network access to the Primary server is sufficient; the published assessment bounds the reported consequence to complete service interruption.
