Insufficient UI warning in AVEVA Edge 20.0 build 4201.2111.1802.0000 SP2 allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted APP file. APP-file processing permits intentionally unrestricted Visual Basic scripts without presenting a sufficiently prominent trust warning. Exploitation requires a user to visit a malicious page or open the file, after which the script runs with the current process's permissions.
