Authenticated command execution via same-domain client credentials

Command execution in Veritas NetBackup Client 9.0.x through 9.0.0.1 and 9.1.x through 9.1.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to run commands. The client accepts commands from a remote host presenting a valid host-id NetBackup certificate and private key from the same domain; Veritas has not disclosed the responsible code path or validation error. Possession of those credentials and network access to the client are required, and successful exploitation executes arbitrary commands on the client host.
