Cross-site scripting in Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server allows remote attackers to inject dashboard content through a malicious URL. The CDE plugin places user-controlled URL content into a dashboard without neutralizing executable web content; the affected parameter and code path are undisclosed. The CDE plugin must be present, and injected script can disclose session cookies or issue requests with the dashboard user's privileges.
