API key disclosure via unauthenticated getUserAPIKey access
Published Aug 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Authentication bypass in affected Zoho ManageEngine ITOM builds allows remote attackers to obtain a valid user's API key without authentication. The getUserAPIKey function exposes the key because request handling permits access to the function without first authenticating the caller. Possession of the disclosed key grants access to the affected user's external APIs, enabling data access and actions within that user's API permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
