Credential ID disclosure via unchecked HTTP endpoint
Published Jul 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in Jenkins Coverity Plugin 1.11.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to enumerate stored credential IDs. An HTTP endpoint returns Jenkins credential identifiers without performing the intended permission check beyond the caller's Overall/Read access. Overall/Read access is required; the identifiers do not expose secret values directly but can support a separate credential-capture attack.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
