Server-side connections via forged form-validation requests
Published Jul 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Jenkins Openstack Heat Plugin 1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to connect to an attacker-chosen URL. The affected form-validation methods accept non-POST requests and initiate connections with a caller-supplied endpoint without validating request origin. A remote attacker must induce a Jenkins user to load the forged request; the resulting connection originates from the Jenkins controller.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
