Outbound connections via CSRF-prone form validation
Published Jul 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
CSRF in Jenkins OpenShift Deployer Plugin 1.2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to make the controller connect to a supplied URL. A form-validation method accepts requests without requiring POST, allowing a crafted page to invoke the connection test with supplied credentials. Exploitation requires a signed-in user with Overall/Read permission to visit attacker-controlled content; the bounded impact is an outbound authenticated connection.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
