Authenticated configuration disclosure via unchecked form endpoints
Published Jul 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in BMC AMI DevX Source Code Download 2.0.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to enumerate connection metadata. Several doFillConnectionIdItems methods and doFillCredentialsIdItems return configured mainframe hosts, ports, and credential IDs without requiring Jenkins Administrator or Item/Configure permission. Overall/Read permission is sufficient; the IDs do not reveal secrets directly but can support credential capture through another flaw.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
