CVE-2022-36895Network attack vector

Configuration and credential-ID disclosure via unchecked endpoints

Published Jul 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Missing authorization in Jenkins' Compuware Topaz Utilities Plugin 1.0.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to enumerate connection data. JclDescriptorImpl's doFillConnectionIdItems and doFillCredentialsIdItems endpoints return global host connections and credential choices without checking ADMINISTER or Item.CONFIGURE permission. Overall/Read access is sufficient; exposure is limited to host names, ports, and credential IDs, although the IDs can support a separate credential-capture attack.
