Workspace disclosure via unchecked file-pattern validation
Published Jul 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in Jenkins rpmsign-plugin 0.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to list workspace contents. The doCheckIncludes form-validation method passes an attacker-supplied Ant file mask to workspace.validateAntFileMask without first checking Item/Workspace permission. Item/Read permission is sufficient to issue repeated requests that reveal matching workspace paths without Item/Workspace or Item/Configure permission.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
