Workspace content disclosure via unchecked form validation
Published Jul 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in Jenkins Project's RHNPush Plugin 0.5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to enumerate workspace contents. The doCheckIncludes form-validation method matches attacker-specified include patterns against the job workspace without checking Item/Workspace permission. Item/Read permission is sufficient, and repeated pattern probes disclose workspace file and directory names without granting configuration access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
