Controller-file disclosure via unrestricted application paths
Published Jul 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Path traversal in Jenkins Deployer Framework Plugin 85.v1d1888e8c021 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to upload controller files. Deployment configuration accepts an unrestricted application path, so a path outside build artifacts is resolved and sent to the selected deployment service. Item/Configure permission is required, and exploitation exposes controller files readable by Jenkins to that service.
