Path traversal in CallBGProvider on Samsung Mobile Devices S(12) allows local users to overwrite arbitrary files with the phone UID. CallBGProvider accepts a traversal path without proper input validation and writes to the resolved location under the phone UID. The flaw is reachable locally without prior privileges or user interaction, and its documented consequence is limited to file integrity.
