PendingIntent hijacking in releaseAlarm in Samsung Charm before 1.2.3 allows local users to read files via an implicit intent. The releaseAlarm routine uses an implicit intent for a file-access PendingIntent, leaving the operation available for interception by another application. A malicious application running on the paired Android phone can exploit the condition without user interaction, exposing files that its own permissions would not allow it to read.
