Unrestricted file upload in Hitachi Energy MicroSCADA X SDM600 before 1.2 FP3 HF4 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The system node accepts a specially crafted uploaded message because file-permission validation does not restrict dangerous file types. Access to the SDM600 system is required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code and can compromise the application host.
