Stored XSS via missing option-update nonce
Published Sep 1, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in CallRail Phone Call Tracking 0.4.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject JavaScript via a forged request. The callrail_options function accepts option changes without valid nonce verification, allowing attacker-controlled script content to be stored. An administrator must be authenticated and induced to submit the forged request; the stored payload then executes when a user opens the affected post or page.
