Unauthenticated interruption of new client connections

Denial of service in F5 BIG-IP allows remote attackers to stop affected virtual servers from accepting new client connections. F5 identifies the locus as TMM SYN-cookie processing and an incorrect calculation, but has not disclosed the traffic pattern or erroneous operation. Exposure requires an affected release and a virtual server using an LTM TCP profile with Auto Receive Window enabled; successful traffic blocks new connections without reported data disclosure or modification.
