Authenticated root command execution via NTP configuration

Command injection in D-Link DSL-224 firmware 3.0.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The NTP configuration JSON-RPC interface places an attacker-controlled server value into a root-privileged command context without neutralizing command syntax. Access to the authenticated management interface is required, and successful exploitation grants complete control of the router.
