Unauthenticated command execution via ping destination

Remote code execution in Elsight Halo before 10.6.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through its web panel. The /api/v1/nics/wifi/wlan0/ping connection-validation endpoint passes an unvalidated DESTINATION value into the ping operation, allowing crafted input to become executable command content. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation gives command execution on the embedded communications device.
