Browser script execution via unsanitized platform value
Published Aug 30, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Cobub Razor 0.8.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through a crafted platform value. The uploadchannel() handler passes the POST value to getchanbyplat(), which inserts it unescaped into SQL and returns UNION-supplied script content through json_encode(). Exploitation requires user interaction, after which the script can read or alter data accessible to the Razor origin.
