Database disclosure via unsanitized bookId parameter
Published Aug 30, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Library Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through the bookId parameter. The /librarian/delete.php handler executes injected SQL syntax from bookId; the published payload invokes MySQL updatexml to expose the database name in an error. No authentication or user interaction is required, and a crafted POST request reaches the demonstrated disclosure path.
