Database disclosure via injectable student ID
Published Aug 29, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Library Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through a crafted student id. The studentdetails.php endpoint incorporates the id parameter into an SQL query without neutralizing syntax, enabling UNION-based extraction. The published request carries a PHP session cookie, while NVD assesses no privileges as required; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of the current database name.
