Database disclosure via injectable item identifier
Published Aug 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Ingredients Stock Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to infer database data through the item-view endpoint. At /isms/admin/items/view_item.php, a quote and appended Boolean expression in id alter SQL evaluation, and response differences reveal predicate results. A valid application session is required; the published proof demonstrates inference of the database-name length, while broader reads or writes are not shown.
