Authenticated metadata disclosure via injectable category identifier
Published Aug 25, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Ingredients Stock Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to infer database metadata via a crafted category ID. The manage_category.php endpoint interprets SQL syntax appended to the id parameter, and response differences expose database-name length. A valid application session is required; the published proof demonstrates blind metadata extraction rather than arbitrary data modification.
