SQL execution via injectable report month parameter
Published Aug 29, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Ingredients Stock Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL via the stockout report. The /admin/?page=reports/stockout handler incorporates the month parameter into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax; a published UNION payload returns the active database name. Access requires a valid PHP session and the administrative report route, and successful injection permits database reads and other SQL operations allowed to the application account.
