Authenticated database disclosure via injectable month parameter
Published Aug 29, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Ingredients Stock Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via a crafted month parameter. The stock-in report endpoint treats SQL syntax in the month value as query structure, allowing a UNION SELECT payload to return database content. An authenticated management session is required, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of the current database name.
