Authenticated database disclosure via injectable category id
Published Sep 1, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Simple Task Scheduling System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted category id. The categories/view_category.php endpoint accepts an injected quote and SQL predicate in id; response differences expose a boolean oracle. An administrative session is required, and the published proof demonstrates blind extraction of database information.
