Stored script execution via unescaped part fields
Published Sep 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Garage Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in another user's browser via crafted part fields. The Parts create and edit flows store productName, quantity, and rate values, including their edit-prefixed forms, without neutralizing HTML before redisplay. An authenticated user must submit a crafted part and another user must view it, enabling session-data access or actions in that user's context.
