Browser script execution via unescaped Author field

Stored cross-site scripting in Library Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a librarian's browser. The Author field submitted to /librarian/edit_book_details.php is stored and later echoed without validation or output encoding. A highly privileged account must save the crafted value, and a user must load the affected page; the script then executes in that user's browser context.
