Heap-based buffer overflow in Bento4 avcinfo before version n/a allows remote attackers to cause a service interrupt via a crafted media file. AvcInfo.cpp reads beyond heap-allocated buffers while processing malformed AVC data, including an out-of-bounds read in main and a write operation through AP4_BitStream::WriteBytes. Exploitation requires a Bento4-based application to process attacker-controlled media; observed impact is a crash, while confidentiality or integrity compromise is not established.
