Stored script execution via unescaped brand name
Published Sep 2, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Garage Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in another user's browser via brand_name. /brand.php stores brand_name content and later renders it without sufficient output neutralization, causing supplied script markup to execute in a viewer's browser. Authenticated application access and subsequent viewing by another user are required; successful exploitation exposes browser-session data and permits actions with that session's privileges.
