Database query manipulation via unsafe orderBy concatenation
Published Aug 19, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Yimihome Ywoa 6.1 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the orderBy request parameter. On /oa/visual/moduleList.do, the SQLBuilder path splices orderBy into a query string that listResult passes to executeQuery, while encoded syntax bypasses keyword filtering. An authenticated session reaching the personnel-information module can submit SQL expressions under the application's database privileges, as demonstrated by a five-second sleep query.
