CVE-2022-3660Network attack vector

Interface spoofing via hidden fullscreen Omnibox

Published Nov 1, 2022 · Updated Nov 12, 2024

Fullscreen-mode spoofing in Google Chrome on Android before 107.0.5304.62 allows remote attackers to hide the Omnibox via crafted HTML. Google has not published the specific fullscreen-mode code path or the incorrect operation that suppresses the URL bar. A user must open the attacker's page and enter fullscreen mode, after which the hidden origin indicator supports interface spoofing but does not itself disclose data or execute code.
