Database disclosure via injectable login email parameter
Published Aug 31, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Online Ordering System 2.3.2 allows remote attackers to read database data through the user_email login field. The /admin/login.php handler incorporates the POSTed user_email value into a MySQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling a time-based blind payload to alter query execution. No authentication or user interaction is required because the affected field is on the administrator login form; the demonstrated consequence is extraction of database information.
