Improper access control in RubyInstaller2 3.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via the install directory. The C:\RailsInstaller directory permits authenticated users to overwrite binaries that RubyInstaller2 later executes. Exploitation requires an authenticated account and directory write access, after which arbitrary code execution can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
