Unauthenticated command execution via Ping parameter
Published Aug 29, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Command injection in Seiko SkyBridge MB-A200 01.00.04 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via Ping input. The published record identifies ping_exec.cgi and its Ping parameter but does not disclose the server-side command construction or validation failure. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation runs commands in the router firmware's execution context and can alter data or interrupt service.
