CVE-2022-36551Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file disclosure via file URL import

Published Oct 3, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

SSRF in Heartex Label Studio Community Edition 1.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary local files. The Data Import load_tasks path accepts a file:// URL and passes it to tasks_from_url, which fetches the local file into the project without rejecting that scheme. An account is required, but self-registration is enabled by default, allowing remote attackers to create an account before retrieving host files.
