Script execution via unescaped search input
Published Aug 26, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in Edoc-doctor-appointment-system 1.0.1 allows attackers to execute scripts in a patient browser via a crafted Search value. The patient dashboard posts the raw value to schedule.php, which inserts it into an HTML input value attribute without output encoding. A patient session and victim interaction are required; execution occurs in the victim browser and can read or alter data available to that session.
