Database query execution via unparameterized doctor identifier
Published Aug 26, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Edoc-doctor-appointment-system 1.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL via a crafted doctors.php id. The patient/doctors.php view action passes the id query parameter into a doctor lookup without safe parameterization, enabling boolean- and time-based blind queries. A valid patient session is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates database enumeration through MySQL response timing.
