Script execution via unfiltered User-Agent reflection
Published Aug 16, 2022 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Reflected XSS in rageframe2 2.6.37 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through a crafted User-Agent header. backend/common/system/info.php reads HTTP_USER_AGENT and places it in the generated information page without filtering or output encoding. Script execution requires a user to render the reflected response; the published demonstration used an authenticated backend session.
