Admin-session script execution via unsafe preview eval
Published Nov 17, 2022 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Amasty Blog Pro before 2.10.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The preview script at blog/view/base/web/js/adminhtml/preview.js passes attacker-influenced preview response data to eval without safe parsing. Low-privileged network access is required, and an administrator must open the manipulated preview; the script can read or alter data available to that admin session.
