Use-after-free in Linux Kernel 33fc42de33278b2b3ec6f3390512987bc29a62b7 allows local users to crash systems via MediaTek Ethernet handling. The __mtk_ppe_check_skb function in drivers/net/ethernet/mediatek/mtk_ppe.c accesses packet state after it has been freed, creating a use-after-free condition. Reaching the code requires local low-privilege access; Ubuntu reports system crash or possible arbitrary code execution, while Debian states no released upstream kernel was affected.
