CVE-2022-36355Network attack vector

Authenticated stored XSS via unsanitized chart content

Published Sep 1, 2022 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Cross-site scripting in PluginlySpeaking Easy Org Chart <= 3.1 allows remote authenticated users with contributor access to inject scripts into WordPress pages. The advisory attributes the flaw to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in plugin-generated organizational-chart content but does not identify a file or function. A contributor-level account must store the payload, and a visitor must load the affected chart page for script execution; impact is limited to page-context data access and actions.
