DOM-based XSS in Siemens SCALANCE web interfaces allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The interface renders administrator-supplied data without neutralizing script-related HTML tags, causing that data to enter the DOM as executable code. Administrative privileges and user interaction are required; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled script in the affected browser context.
