SNMP credential exposure via plaintext storage and display
Published Aug 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Credential exposure in Airspan AirVelocity 1500 before 15.18.00.2511 allows remote attackers to obtain SNMP credentials through the web UI. The web UI writes SNMPv3 passwords to /bsdata/snmpd.conf, which snmpd cannot rewrite into derived keys, and also renders current SNMP credentials. Network access to the management UI is sufficient; the exposed values permit SNMP manipulation of the eNodeB and reuse against devices sharing them.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
