DLL hijacking in Outbyte PC Repair Installation File 1.7.112.7856 allows local users to gain administrator privileges. The installer searches for iertutil.dll without bundling the expected library, allowing a same-named malicious DLL in its search path to load. Exploitation requires local DLL placement and user interaction to run the installer, after which attacker code executes with the installer's elevated rights.
