CVE-2022-36267Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized ping parameter

Published Aug 8, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Command injection in Airspan AirSpot 5410 0.3.4.1-4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands without authentication. The /home/www/cgi-bin/diagnostics.cgi binary passes unsanitized input from the ping request to the device's command execution path. A crafted HTTP request reaches the diagnostic function before authentication, enabling full remote control of the device.
